Welcome to the website of Meqwar Modern Kitchens (“MMK”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing this website, submitting a quotation request, booking a consultation, or engaging MMK for products or services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. About MMK

MMK provides design, fabrication, supply and installation services, including stainless steel kitchens, ventilation systems, refrigerated displays, custom fabrication and related products and services.

Information displayed on this website is provided for general information and presentation purposes. Projects, materials, finishes and specifications shown may vary from those ultimately supplied.

2. Quotations

Quotation requests submitted through this website are requests for pricing only and do not constitute a confirmed order or contract.

All quotations are subject to review by MMK and may depend on project specifications, measurements, materials, quantities, site conditions and other requirements.

Unless otherwise stated in the quotation, prices may be revised if the project scope, specifications, quantities, dimensions or requirements change.

A project is considered confirmed only once the applicable quotation or agreement has been accepted and any required deposit has been received.

3. Custom & Made-to-Measure Work

Many MMK products are designed and fabricated specifically for each project.

The client is responsible for reviewing and approving all relevant drawings, dimensions, finishes, materials and specifications before fabrication begins.

Once fabrication has commenced, modifications may result in additional costs and changes to the estimated completion date.

Custom-made or fabricated products generally cannot be returned or exchanged once production has commenced, except where required by applicable law.

4. Measurements & Site Conditions

Where MMK conducts site measurements, fabrication will be based on the conditions and dimensions available at the time of measurement.

The client must notify MMK of any subsequent construction, electrical, plumbing, ventilation, flooring, wall or other changes that could affect the project.

MMK is not responsible for additional work or costs resulting from inaccurate information supplied by the client or changes made to the site after measurements or approvals.

5. Materials & Finishes

Samples, photographs, renders and images are intended to provide a reasonable representation of materials and finishes.

Minor variations in stainless steel, stone, wood, glass, colour, grain, texture, reflectivity and other materials may naturally occur and are not necessarily considered defects.

6. Payment

Payment terms, deposits and payment schedules will be specified in the relevant quotation, invoice or project agreement.

Where a deposit is required, work may not begin until the deposit has been received.

MMK reserves the right to pause fabrication, delivery or installation where an amount due remains unpaid, subject to the applicable project agreement and law.

7. Project Timelines

Any production, delivery or installation dates provided by MMK are estimates unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing.

Timelines may be affected by design changes, client approvals, material availability, site readiness, third-party suppliers or circumstances outside MMK’s reasonable control.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes to anticipated project timelines.

8. Delivery & Installation

Where installation is included, the client is responsible for ensuring that the site is accessible, safe and sufficiently prepared for installation on the agreed date.

Additional visits, storage, transportation or labour resulting from an inaccessible or unprepared site may incur additional charges where agreed or permitted under the applicable contract.

Installation requirements specific to a project will be communicated separately where necessary.

9. Changes & Cancellations

Requests to modify a confirmed project must be submitted to MMK for review.

Changes may affect the price, specifications and completion schedule and will only become part of the project once agreed.

Cancellation terms may vary depending on the stage of design, procurement or fabrication and will be governed by the relevant quotation or project agreement and applicable Kuwait law.

10. Warranty & After-Sales Support

Any warranty applicable to MMK products or workmanship will be specified in the relevant quotation, invoice, warranty document or project agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed, warranties do not cover damage resulting from misuse, improper maintenance, unauthorised alterations, accidents, abnormal operating conditions or normal wear and tear, subject always to rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Third-party appliances and equipment may be subject to the manufacturer's own warranty terms.

11. Website Content

All website content, including photographs, designs, drawings, graphics, text, branding and other materials, is owned by or licensed to MMK unless otherwise stated.

Content may not be reproduced, distributed, modified or used commercially without prior written permission from MMK or the applicable rights holder.

Images of completed projects may include work completed as part of a wider project or in collaboration with contractors, consultants, designers or other parties.

12. Intellectual Property & Custom Designs

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, MMK retains its rights in its drawings, fabrication methods, technical details, design documentation and other proprietary materials.

Providing drawings or proposals to a prospective or existing client does not automatically transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

13. Website Availability

We aim to keep the website and its information accurate and available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that all information will always be complete or error-free.

MMK may update, modify or remove website content without prior notice.

14. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. MMK is not responsible for the content, availability, security or privacy practices of third-party websites.

15. Privacy

Personal information submitted through quotation forms, consultation bookings or other website forms will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable requirements.

16. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MMK will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from use of this website.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Kuwait law.

Any liability relating to a specific MMK project will also be subject to the terms of the applicable quotation, agreement, warranty or other contractual documentation.

17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait.

Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Kuwait, unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by applicable law.
